So what is a hashtag? Why is a hashtag important for promoting business on Instagram? In the article below, Optimalmk will show you How to separate hashtags on Instagram? How to use hashtags on Instagram to bring the best effect for promoting your products and services. From there, it will help you expand your knowledge base in connecting your business with more people on Instagram.
What is the effect of hashtags on Instagram?
Hashtags on Instagram are one of the cheapest ways to grow your Instagram account. Using the right hashtags (or combining multiple hashtags) can help expand your brand as well as reach large target audiences. In fact, you have the opportunity to attract new followers, get more likes and increase engagement by using hashtags.
In addition, using hashtags on Instagram is probably one of the shortest ways to expand the space and reach of your Instagram account. A short, unique, strange and memorable hashtag can attract many Instagram buyers to follow your account, and increase their interaction with Instagram posts.
And your brand is completely capable of creating a hashtag trend if you know how to use hashtags in a smart, witty and humorous way, hitting the customer’s psychology. This trend with an extremely strong spreading speed in the social network consumer community, can become a stepping stone for your brand to go further, reach out to your target customers and can develop into a partner with big brands and trademarks.
How do you separate hashtags on Instagram?
Okay, now that you know how to create paragraphs and break lines in your captions, here are some ways you can separate hashtags so they don’t clutter up your Instagram captions.
Keep a line in the caption app
In the Notes app (or whatever caption editor you want to use), create a few continuous line breaks, followed by your hashtags. When it’s time to post to Instagram, compose your note (either in the Notes app, above these line breaks, or in Instagram itself). Then, paste the line breaks and hashtags you just entered into Instagram after your caption.

Copy the type breaks from the post into a new note
Once you’ve done this for any previous posts, it’s easier (and quicker) to go back to the previous post with the type breaks, click ‘edit’, then copy the type breaks and hashtags and paste them into your new post note. You can then edit the hashtags as needed for your new post and publish them! This is my favorite way when I’m in a hurry.
PUT YOUR ENTIRE NOTE INTO A COMMENT ON YOUR POST
Many people just post their Instagram posts with captions and no hashtags, then comment on their posts immediately with the hashtags. The reasoning for this is that not only do you create a clear separation between your hashtag and your caption, but you also create an instant comment on your post, which the Instagram algorithm will theoretically consider as ‘interaction’ on your post (even though it’s only you), thus showing your post higher in your followers’ feeds because your post had a good initial ‘interaction’.
Instagram’s algorithms are very creative, so I bet they’ve figured out a way to filter out your interaction when determining where your post shows up in your followers’ feeds. (Also, since I schedule a lot of my social media posts, I like to use the pattern break method because it still looks neat, but I can include the hashtags in the scheduled post and not have to comment manually afterward.)
